Chapter 11
The following morning...
Daisy and Liam's photoshoot for the 'Young Faces' brand exploded across social media, flooding Instagram and Twitter within hours. The adorable duo even trended at number three on the hot search charts, their natural charm captivating the internet.
#PureJoy: These photos are absolutely stunning!
#BlessedByGenes: OMG, their faces—did angels personally sculpt them? I'm green with envy!
#ParentGoals: I need to see what their parents look like.
#LuxuryInMiniature: These are just kids' clothes, but these two make them look like high fashion. Is it their aura or what?
The comment sections were ablaze, with everyone obsessing over the children's striking features.
Nathan Goldmann sat in his office at Goldmann Enterprises when the trending topic caught his eye.
The children in the photos didn't just look comfortable in front of the camera—they owned it, moving with effortless chemistry as if born to be stars.
He couldn't explain why he was so drawn to them.
Just then, Oliver Lawson knocked and entered. "Sir, the sales for 'Young Faces' have skyrocketed. Hiring those two was clearly the right move."
Nathan nodded but kept his gaze fixed on the screen.
Oliver hesitated before adding, "Also, Royal Crown Entertainment reached out. They want to sign the kids."
Royal Crown was the most prestigious talent agency in Bassburgh, the only entertainment subsidiary under the Goldmann Group.
Their roster was filled with A-listers, and any artist they scouted was destined for greatness.
Nathan's lashes lowered slightly. "We need their parents' consent first. They're too young for us to decide for them."
Oliver blinked. "But their paperwork doesn’t list any parental contacts."
Nathan finally looked up. "No parents' information?"
"There’s a phone number, but we can’t verify if it’s real." Oliver flipped through the documents and pulled out the anonymous number the children had provided.
At Seaview Villa...
Evelyn slipped on her shoes and turned to the triplets. "Be good while Mommy’s at work. Call Aunt Sophia if anything happens, okay?"
The three waved enthusiastically. "Bye, Mommy!"
Evelyn blew them a kiss and left.
The moment the door closed, the phone rang.
The triplets exchanged glances before rushing to answer. Only one person could be calling this number—Goldmann Enterprises.
Daisy stretched onto her tiptoes and chirped, "Hello, this is the residence of Her Royal Highness! Who’s speaking?"
A deep, smooth voice replied, "It’s... the man who carried you the other day."
Daisy gasped. "Mr. Handsome! It’s you!"
"Are your parents home?"
"Mommy’s at work. What’s up, Mr. Handsome?" She propped her chin on her hands, swinging her legs.
A faint smile tugged at Nathan’s lips. "Where are you? I’ll come pick you up."
Oliver nearly choked. Since when did the CEO of Goldmann Enterprises play chauffeur?
Nathan hung up after getting the address, grabbed his keys, and stood.
"Sir, should I fetch them instead?"
Nathan tossed him the keys. "You’re driving."
Oliver sighed.
At Seaview Villa #9, the children bounded out excitedly when the car arrived.
Oliver suppressed a grimace. This looks suspiciously like a kidnapping.
Daisy climbed in beside Nathan, her sunflower tutu bouncing. Caleb, disguised as Liam, followed.
"Mister, where are we going?" Caleb asked, feigning innocence.
Nathan studied him. Something felt different about the boy today.
"Have you eaten?"
"Not yet. Are you treating us?" Caleb blinked.
Nathan noticed a mole near Caleb’s eye he hadn’t seen before. He ruffled the boy’s hair. "You weren’t this friendly last time."
Caleb grinned sheepishly. "I thought you were a bad guy."
"My brother gets super scary when he thinks someone’s bad," Daisy added.
Nathan’s lips quirked. "Take us to The Grand Courtyard," he told Oliver.
The restaurant’s entire space had been reserved for them.
Nathan gestured to the menu. "Order whatever you like."
The kids scanned the extravagant options. Daisy pointed at the most expensive dish. "Liam, I want this!"
"Okay, then we’ll get that."
"And this!"
"That too."
"And this! And this!"
Caleb groaned. "Are you a bottomless pit?"
Daisy huffed. Liam would’ve let me order everything.
Nathan sipped his water, inexplicably amused.
The manager approached apologetically. "I’m sorry, but we’re out of Australian lobster today. Every restaurant in the area is."
Daisy’s face fell. Lobster was her favorite—just like her mom.
Nathan set down his glass. "How long to airlift some from the coast?"
Oliver’s jaw dropped. Is he seriously chartering a flight for lobster?
The manager stammered, "T-Two hours, sir."
"Arrange it."
Daisy and Caleb gaped. "Mister, you’re so rich."
Oliver muttered, No kidding.
Nathan smirked. "Ever considered acting?"
Daisy tilted her head. "Is a company scouting us?"
"Yes, but only if you want to."
"I’m in!"
Nathan raised a brow. "Will your parents agree?"
"We don’t have a dad. Just Her Royal Highness. It’s hard for her to support us alone, so we wanna help!"
No father? Nathan’s expression darkened briefly.
"What does your mom do?"
Caleb grinned. "She’s amazing—she’s a designer!"
