Chapter 367

Evelyn let out a derisive laugh. "What absolute nonsense! When did I ever do any of those things to you? You're the one throwing yourself at Alexander with that face of yours. Every single accusation you're making is your own doing. So if I decide to make you suffer later, you've got no one to blame but yourself."

"Myself to blame?"

"You dug your own grave, you vile creature! You're just as worthless as that bitch Evelyn. The world wouldn't miss either of you!"

Before Victoria could finish her venomous tirade, Evelyn's palm connected sharply with her cheek.

Victoria stood frozen for two heartbeats. As she opened her mouth to spew more hatred, Evelyn seized her collar, cutting off her air supply.

Victoria's gaze locked with Evelyn's piercing eyes - those glacial orbs flashing with deadly intent. A shiver ran down Victoria's spine.

"I dug my own grave? My death wouldn't be regretted? After everything, you still dare spout such inhuman words?" Evelyn's voice was arctic, her stare sharper than any blade.

"Six years ago, you drugged Alexander and framed me for crimes I never committed. You made everyone believe I was some desperate woman throwing myself at him."

"With your fabricated stories and carefully constructed traps, you got me wrongfully imprisoned for three years. Over a thousand days of torture from the people you hired. You even forced labor on my unborn child! I never even got to hold my baby before you and your adulterous lover murdered her!"

"And did you really think I wouldn't discover you killed my grandfather?"

Evelyn tightened her grip on Victoria's collar. Her crimson eyes burned with fury, each glare like a dagger stabbing into Victoria's frozen form.

"Every ounce of my suffering came from you and Alexander. And you have the audacity to say I brought it upon myself?"

With a contemptuous sneer, Evelyn released her grip. "Victoria, the only one who's dug their grave here is you. This ending? You crafted it yourself."

Silence engulfed the bridal suite.

Victoria stood speechless, her face cycling through emotions like a broken neon sign before settling into ashen pallor.

"This can't be... Evelyn's dead. I disfigured her myself. That skin couldn't have healed so perfectly. Impossible..." Victoria muttered, refusing to accept the poised, powerful woman before her.

Yet those unmistakable fiery eyes left no room for denial.

"You... E-Evelyn... Is it really you?"

Evelyn's lips curled into a predatory smile as she lifted her chin. "Indeed. I'm your dear sister Evelyn Sinclair. The one whose marriage you ruined, whose husband you stole, whose grandfather and child you murdered."

Victoria's body convulsed, her eyes widening in fresh horror.

The reality that Evelyn had survived was inconceivable. Worse still - not only was Evelyn breathtakingly beautiful, but she'd returned wealthy, successful, with her own empire!

Victoria would never measure up.

Now she understood why "Vivian" had been circling her and Alexander. This was no coincidence - it was vengeance.

"Don't get cocky, Evelyn! Who do you think you are? So you survived - big deal! If I killed you once, I can do it again!" Victoria screeched, her crimson eyes wild with desperation.

Evelyn merely smirked. "Yet here I stand. Which means you lack the power to finish what you started."

"Y-You..." Victoria trembled with rage. "Evelyn, do you really think this little act will destroy me? When Alexander discovers you're the woman he despises most, he'll never forgive you!"
