Chapter 597

Seraphina's face paled instantly, her perfectly manicured nails digging into her palms.

"That's not what we meant at all!" Her voice trembled with panic. "We were merely discussing lifestyle differences. No offense intended toward Ms. Sinclair."

Evelyn's lips curved into an amused smile, her emerald eyes sparkling with genuine warmth rather than anger. "Relax, I understand. Just casual conversation about CASING. No need to scare them, Vivian."

The tension in the room visibly dissipated as everyone realized Evelyn truly wasn't offended.

She was far more down-to-earth than her billionaire heiress status suggested.

Vivian shot Nathan a pointed look before clearing her throat. "Ms. Sinclair has a heart of gold. She'll undoubtedly find true love again. As will Mr. Blackwood."

Nathan's icy glare could have frozen the Mediterranean. Since when did a pack of divorced socialites become qualified to give Evelyn life advice?

Cassandra suddenly whipped out her phone with dramatic flair. "Let's exchange contacts! We should create a WhatsApp group for our little circle."

Vivian immediately joined in the excitement, pulling up her QR code with enthusiasm.

Not to be left out, Vivian followed suit.

Evelyn casually scanned everyone's codes without hesitation.

Then Seraphina sauntered over to Nathan, hips swaying, her crimson lips parting in a sultry smile. "Mr. Blackwood, darling, what's your WhatsApp?"

The air crackled with anticipation.

No woman in Manhattan's elite circles had ever obtained this elusive billionaire's private contact. Yet here he stood, within touching distance.

Securing his digits would be the first conquest in her carefully planned seduction.

Nathan's glacial gaze swept over her before tilting his chin toward Evelyn.

He was determined to keep their lives irrevocably intertwined, even post-divorce.

Seraphina pouted dramatically. "Mr. Blackwood, you're divorced now. Surely Ms. Sinclair won't mind? You don't mind, do you, Evelyn?"

Evelyn lifted one perfectly arched brow, her smile razor-sharp. "Not in the slightest."

Nathan felt his jaw clench. This woman would be the death of him.

She was actually encouraging other women to pursue him!

How could she be so indifferent?

His teeth ground together audibly.

Seraphina's smile turned predatory as she batted her false lashes at him. "See? Ms. Sinclair approves. Now be a darling and give me your number. Strictly for business purposes, of course!"

Nathan's fingers absently traced his temple, his smile colder than Arctic winds. "Apologies. I don't use WhatsApp."

Seraphina's flirtatious grin froze into a rictus.

Even her considerable experience with wealthy men couldn't salvage this blatant rejection.

"Forget it," she forced a laugh, "Mr. Blackwood must protect his corporate secrets."

Pushing further would only humiliate herself.

Evelyn had already turned away, murmuring instructions to Joia while texting Dominic about their departure.

Vivian boarded the yacht first, with Cassandra trailing behind.

Nathan waited pointedly on the adjacent vessel while Seraphina whined, "We're missing someone!"

All eyes scanned the group. Xavier was nowhere to be seen.

Seraphina's plump lips formed an exaggerated pout. "This isn't fair! Three women can't possibly out-row a man. We're doomed to lose!"

The director scratched his head. "Should we... recall Xavier then?"

Seraphina began gesturing wildly. "I propose we balance the teams properly! Either put the heaviest woman with the man to offset the weight difference, or the two lightest women with him."

The implication was obvious to everyone.

The "heaviest woman" could only refer to Seraphina herself - all curves and calculated seduction.
