Chapter 592

Two grand entrances framed the studio - north and south. Whether intentional or not, the production team had set the stage perfectly.

Nathan Blackwood's command sliced through the air. At his signal, both doors swung open simultaneously.

The audience gasped.

From the southern entrance emerged Xavier Delmont. His crisp white shirt caught the light as he offered a practiced, charming smile.

But all eyes quickly shifted north.

A collective inhale echoed through the studio.

Nathan Blackwood himself stood framed in the doorway.

The notorious billionaire playboy. The man who never attended public events. Here. Now.

The three female celebrities froze. Their manicured hands flew to check their hair, their makeup. Every calculated move forgotten in his magnetic presence.

Nathan's gaze burned across the room, searching for one person only.

Evelyn Sinclair.

His ex-wife.

His obsession.

Then he saw Xavier standing opposite him. The carbon copy. The replacement.

Nathan's knuckles whitened. Every muscle in his body tensed.

"Who invited this imitation?" The thought seared through his mind.

Xavier's smile faltered. He glanced nervously at Nathan before quickly moving to Evelyn's side.

This was supposed to be his big break. The struggling actor finally getting recognition beyond being "Nathan Blackwood's lookalike."

Now the original stood mere feet away, radiating danger.

Nathan remained rooted at the entrance. Backlit by studio lights, his chiseled features looked carved from ice. The air around him crackled with barely contained fury.

Silence descended.

Evelyn arched an eyebrow at Nathan's unexpected appearance. Her gaze flicked to Dominic Kingsley, the show's producer.

Nathan's glare followed hers.

Dominic swallowed hard under the dual scrutiny. He'd thought having both men would create explosive ratings. Now he feared literal explosions.

"Mr. Blackwood!" Dominic forced cheer into his voice. "What an honor to have you join us today!"

Nathan's lips curled. "Is that so?"

Dominic rushed to explain. "Xavier is here as an assistant to our female guests. And to... support you, of course."

The unspoken hierarchy was clear: Nathan as the star, Xavier as the help.

Nathan's expression didn't soften. Dominic's smile grew strained. He shot Evelyn a pleading look.

This was going to be the longest shoot of his career.
