Chapter 277

Purple bruises marred Evelyn's delicate arms. Dried blood caked the corner of her swollen lips.

The camera on the nightstand captured every horrifying detail of the bed's twisted scene...

Dominic's fury erupted like a volcano!

His foot connected with Maxwell's ribs, sending the man crashing to the floor before shattering the recording device to pieces.

Maxwell barely registered the pain before Dominic hauled him up like a ragdoll and slammed him against the wall. The sickening crunch of bones echoed through the room.

"Touch her again and I'll end you." Dominic's voice dripped with lethal promise, making even Sebastian and Evelyn flinch.

Evelyn curled into a trembling ball in the corner, fighting both tears and the drug's effects through sheer willpower.

Dominic noted her flushed skin and glassy eyes - clear signs of intoxication. Instead of comforting her, his gaze turned glacial.

Foolish woman, walking straight into the viper's nest. She needed to learn consequences, but not like this.

His expression darkened further seeing the marks on her skin.

"We were just having some marital fun when you attacked me. Ruining my wife's happiness now?" Maxwell spat blood but kept smirking.

Dominic's predatory stare pinned him down. "Blood relation stayed my hand before. Not today."

Each measured step forward made Maxwell's bravado crack. Everyone knew Dominic moved like royalty but fought like a street brawler.

The first kick had already broken ribs. Maxwell wheezed through the pain, unable to rise.

"Starting a family war over some girl?" Maxwell choked out.

Sebastian shook his head. Idiot. Everyone knew Evelyn was Dominic's weakness.

Dominic picked up the broken wine glass, sniffed the residue. "Joyvibe? Turning innocents into desperate whores? Classy."

Maxwell laughed despite his injuries. "Wanted her begging for it. Look at her - practically dripping already. Shame you interrupted before I could—"

A bloodcurdling scream cut him off.

Dominic had driven the glass shard clean through Maxwell's palm, embedding it in the floorboards.

"You bastard!" Maxwell's face contorted in agony.

Evelyn gasped, shock cutting through her haze. He'd impaled his own cousin without hesitation.

This wasn't the controlled businessman she knew. This was something darker.

"Kill me now or I'll kill you later!" Maxwell spat through the pain. "She was mine first!"

Dominic's hand shot out, crushing Maxwell's throat. "Listen well. Evelyn belongs to me. Next time you look at her, I'll bury you. Miss prison? I can arrange a permanent stay."

He discarded Maxwell like trash before scooping Evelyn up effortlessly.

"Sir, his injuries are severe. Should we—" Sebastian started.

Dominic didn't look back. "If he lives, he lives. If he dies? Good riddance."

As consciousness faded, Maxwell watched Dominic carry his prize away. Blood bubbled from his lips before darkness claimed him.
